Jaye Marie Green, 18, Boca Raton, Fla., WAGR No. 7

Advanced to the quarterfinal round with a 2-up victory over Lisa McCloskey … competing in her third Women’s Amateur (2010-12) … also competed in the 2010 and 2012 Women’s Open, 2010 Girls’ Junior and 2008 and 2010 Women’s Amateur Public Links … quarterfinalist at the 2012 North & South Women’s Amateur … made the cut at the 2012 Kraft Nabisco Championship after receiving an exemption into the field … placed 15th at the 2012 Sara Bay Classic on the Symetra Tour … won the 2011 South Atlantic Ladies Amateur Championship (the SALLY)  … runner-up at the 2012 Ione D. Jones/Doherty Championship and the 2011 LPGA Futures Tour Daytona Invitational … finished third at the 2011 and 2012 Dixie Amateur and the 2011 Ione D. Jones/Doherty Championship … has three AJGA wins – 2012 Rolex Tournament of Championship, 2011 PING Invitational and 2010 Polo Golf Junior Classic … committed to attend the University of Florida, but will instead attend LPGA Q-School in the fall as a professional … daughter of Donnie and Stephanie … has one brother, Matt … birthday is Feb. 2, 1994.

Ariya Jutanugarn, 16, Thailand, WAGR No. 2

Advanced to the quarterfinal round with a 3-and-2 victory over Ashlee Dewhurst… competing in her third Women’s Amateur (2010-12) … also competed in the 2010-11 Women’s Open, 2009-2012 Girls’ Junior and 2010 Women’s Amateur Public Links … currently ranked No. 2 in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking … won the 2011 Girls’ Junior, 2 and 1, over Dottie Ardina after winning stroke-play medalist honors … became the 16th player in championship history to win the stroke-play medal and go on to win the championship … was stroke-play medalist again in 2012, but lost in the semifinals to eventual champion Minjee Lee … was the stroke-play medalist at the 2010 Women’s Amateur Public Links, where she lost to 2010 USA Curtis Cup Team member Cydney Clanton in the third round … was the low amateur at the 2011 and 2012 Kraft Nabisco Championship … won the 2012 Junior PGA Championship, Royale  Cup Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship, Rolex Girls’ Junior Championship, Thunderbird International Junior and Women’s Western Amateur … won the 2011 Rolex Girls’ Junior Championship … became the youngest player to qualify for an LPGA Tour event at age 11, when she qualified for the 2007 Honda LPGA Thailand event … named the 2011 AJGA Rolex Junior Player of the Year … daughter of Somboon and Narumon … has a sister, Moriya, who was the runner-up at the 2011  Women’s Amateur… birthday is Nov. 23, 1995.

Lydia Ko, 15, New Zealand, WAGR No. 1

Advanced to the quarterfinal round with a 1-up victory over Celine Boutier … competing in her second Women’s Amateur (2011-12) … also competed in the 2012 Women’s Open and 2012 Girls’ Junior … was the low amateur at the 2012 Women’s Open at 12-over 300 … ranked No. 1 in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking … received the 2011 Mark H. McCormick Medal, which is awarded to the season’s top-ranked amateur … won the 2012 New South Wales Open, becoming, at 14, the youngest person, male or female, to win a professional event … also won the 2012 Australian Amateur … represented New Zealand at the 2010 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship, where she was the youngest competitor … born in Seoul, South Korea, but moved to New Zealand in 2001 … daughter of Jil-Hong and Tina … has one sister, Sura … birthday is March 24, 1997. 

Erynne Lee, 19, Silverdale, Wash., WAGR No. 55

Advanced to the quarterfinal round with a 2-and-1 victory over Austin Ernst … competing in her fifth Women’s Amateur (2008-12) … also competed in the 2008 and 2011 Women’s Open, and the 2008-10 Girls’ Junior … reached the semifinals of the 2008 Women’s Amateur, where she lost to eventual champion Amanda Blumenherst … was a tri-medalist at the 2010 Women’s Amateur, where she lost to Jessica Korda in the quarterfinals … a rising sophomore at UCLA … won the 2012 Pacific Coast Intercollegiate with a score of 207 (-9), her best 54-hole total of the season … was named 2012 Pacific-12 Conference Freshman of the Year and earned first-team All-America honors … tied for third at 2011 Royale Cup Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship … has four AJGA wins – 2010 Laredo Energy Junior at Traditions, 2008/09 Kathy Whitworth Invitational, 2008 AJGA at Wenatchee … competed in the 2011 LPGA Safeway Classic and 2009 CN Canadian Women’s Open … daughter of Brian Lee and Debbie Kim (mother passed away in the fall of 2011) … has one sister, Katie, who competed in the 2011 Women’s Amateur … birthday is Feb. 19, 1993.

Marijosse Navarro, 15, Mexico, WAGR No. 109

Advanced to the quarterfinal round with a 3-and-1 victory over Madeleine Sheils … competing in her first Women’s Amateur … also competed in the 2011-12 Girls’ Junior … won the 2012 Mexican Women’s Amateur Championship and Genesis Shootout Presented by Valero Texas Open … represented Mexico at the 2010 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina … daughter of Hugo and Mayda Navarro … birthday is Sept. 6, 1996.

Su-Hyun Oh, 16, Australia, WAGR No. 21

Advanced to the quarterfinal round with a 4-and-3 victory over Jayvie Marie Agojo … also competed in the 2012 Girls’ Junior … won the 2012 Australian Girls Amateur … was the runner-up at the 2012 Victorian Women’s Stroke Play … became the youngest person to qualify for the Australian Women’s Open in 2009 at age 12 … also competed in 2012, making the cut and finishing T61 … is a member of Golf Australia’s national junior squad … born in Busan, South Korea, but is an Australian citizen … daughter of Seok-Gu Oh and Suk-Ja Kwon … has one sister, Hee-Jin Oh, and one brother, Su-Yong Oh … birthday is May 23, 1996.

Paula Reto, 22, South Africa, WAGR No. 27

Advanced to the quarterfinal round with a 4-and-2 victory over Jessica Vasilic … competing in her third Women’s Amateur (2009-10, 2012) … also competed in the 2009 Women’s Amateur Public Links … a rising senior at Purdue University … was a member of Purdue’s winning team at the 2010 NCAA Division I Women’s National Championship … has won two collegiate tournaments – the 2012 Insperity Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate and 2011 Landfall Tradition … won the 2011 and 2012 Dixie Amateur, becoming the first player to win consecutive championships … born in South Africa, but moved to Coral Springs, Fla., at age 15 … played field hockey and ran track in South Africa, and did not take up golf until 2005 .. daughter of Tony and Belinda Reto … has two older brothers, Miguel and Lluwellyn, and one younger sister, Monique … birthday is May 3, 1990.

Nicole Zhang, 20, Canada, WAGR No. 787

Advanced to the quarterfinal round with a 1-up victory over stroke-play medalist Hyo-Joo Kim … competing in her third Women’s Amateur (2010-12) … also competed in the 2010 Women’s Open, 2007 and 2009 Girls’ Junior and 2010 Women’s Amateur Public Links … completed her freshman year and the first semester of her sophomore year at the University of Notre Dame, but transferred to Northwestern University for the 2012-13 season … earned six top-10 finishes and one victory at the Mary Fossum Invitational for the Irish during 2010-11 … received 2011 NGCA Academic All-American honors … daughter of Charles and Jen … has one brother, Dustin … birthday is June 7, 1992.
