Position Timeframe:  May through August 2019

 

From the USGA Handicap System to national amateur championships, to modernizing the delivery of the game’s Rules and supporting sustainable golf course management practices, the United States Golf Association promotes the health of a game that inspires, challenges, and rewards like nothing else can.

This position will be a part of the USGA’s Global championship news and features that will be published on the USGA’s digital channels (social media, USGA websites, broadcast, and other digital platforms) and S/he must be an eager to learn and offer ideas and already possess strong skills in storytelling, editing and shooting video.

The ideal candidate is a solutions-oriented self-starter behind the camera and in the edit suite. The successful team member understands how to tailor the story to different platforms, including social media, web and broadcast. A “can-do” attitude is essential.

 

What you can expect:  

  • Assist in pre-production, filming, editing, managing assets.

 

What You Bring to the USGA:   

  • Video filming and editing
  • Adobe Premier Pro experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of the company at all levels including Senior Management
  • Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with staff, consultants, freelancers and video staff
  • Ability to work under high pressure and deadlines
  • Must be flexible, able to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Willing to travel
