The USGA believes that golf should be open to everyone, that champions can come from anywhere, and that even the youngest golfers can teach us something. In furtherance of these beliefs the USGA is committed to making the game more affordable and accessible for today’s youth and sharing the values inherent in the game with the next generation of golfers.Since 1997, the USGA has provided in excess of $67 million in grants to more than 900 non-profit organizations that serve youth through golf and its values. To date, more than 2.5 million young people have benefited from such programs.
