Sticks For Kids
USGA partners with the Golf Course Builders Association of America’s Sticks for Kids program, which provides junior golfers across the country with golf programming that emphasizes golf rules, etiquette, safety, and environmental awareness. Working with the National Recreation and Parks Association, Sticks for Kids assists municipal golf courses with golf clubs, bags, and qualified instructors to support junior golf programming. The program, which has grown by an average of 125 sites per year since 2007, serves more than 500 junior golfers in all 50 states and on 8 international military bases.
Sticks for Kids also works with Audubon International and Project Evergreen to provide youth participants with an environmental awareness component.
