Far Hills, N.J. (May 24) – Daily Grounds tickets for Friday, June 18, the second round of the 2010 U.S. Open Championship at Pebble Beach (Calif.) Golf Links, are sold out.
The only tickets remaining for the 2010 U.S. Open are daily Grounds and Trophy Club tickets for Thursday (first round), as well as daily Grounds and Trophy Club tickets for June 14-16 (practice rounds). Prices start at $45 for daily practice-round Grounds tickets and range up to $175 for Trophy Club tickets on Thursday.
The USGA expects Thursday tickets to sell out quickly. Each buyer is permitted to purchase up to four tickets for each day. Tickets include complimentary general parking and shuttle transportation to and from the parking area and the championship entrance.
Cameras and camcorders, without their cases, are permitted on championship practice days only (June 14-16).
Pebble Beach Golf Links has hosted the U.S. Open four previous times: 1972, 1982, 1992 and 2000. More than 35,000 people are expected to attend each day of the championship.
