Byeong-Hun ‘Ben’ An, 18, Bradenton, Fla.

Won the 2009 U.S. Amateur at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla., with a 7-and-5 victory over Ben Martin…became the youngest champion in U.S. Amateur history at 17 years, 11 months and 13 days…lowest competitive score is 63 at the 2008 Dixie Amateur…first-team AJGA Rolex All-American selection in 2009…runner-up at the 2009 AGJA Rolex Tournament of Champions…played in eight PGA Tour events in 2010, making the cut at the Verizon Heritage…enrolled as a freshman at California in 2010…father, Jae, is his caddie…born September 17, 1991 in Seoul, Korea.

Patrick Cantlay, 18, Los Alamitos, Calif.

Advanced to the Round of 32 at the 2009 U.S. Junior Amateur…played in the 2009 U.S. Amateur but missed the cut for match play…won the 2010 California State high school championship…runner-up at 2010 Southern Amateur…named high school golfer of the year by the Orange County Register in 2009 and 2010…named athlete of the year in his high school league…won the 2009 and 2010 Southern California CIF Regional…won the 2008 ClubCorp Mission Hills, 2008 Junior America’s Cup and 2008 Hogan Cup…enrolled as a freshman at UCLA…started playing golf at age 3…born March 17, 1992 in Long Beach, Calif.

David Chung, 20, Fayetteville, N.C.

Won the 2010 Western Amateur and the 2010 Porter Cup…also won the 2009 North & South Amateur…helped lead the United States to a 13-11 victory over Europe at the 2010 Palmer Cup at Royal Portrush Golf Club (Northern Ireland)…runner-up at the 2004 U.S. Junior Amateur at the age of 14…earned PING third-team All-American honors and was a first-team Pac-10 Conference selection in 2010…a semifinalist for the 2010 Hogan Award…a junior at Stanford University…born January 14, 1990 in Fayetteville, N.C.

Jed Dirksen, 21, Hampton, Iowa

Runner-up at 2010 Iowa Amateur…won the 2010 Herman Sani Invitational…won the 2006 Pepsi Little Peoples Golf Championship…was valedictorian at Hampton-Dumont Community High School…HP Scholastic All-American in high school…lowest competitive score of 63 at 2010 Iowa Amateur…junior at University of Iowa, majoring in management…transferred from Arizona State…enjoys lifting weights and running…born February 26, 1989 in Mason City, Iowa.

Morgan Hoffmann, 21, Wyckoff, N.J.

Was a member of the winning 2009 USA Walker Cup Team, going 1-0 in foursomes and 1-0-1 in his singles matches…competed in the 2010 U.S. Open…quarterfinalist at the 2008 U.S. Amateur…earned first-team PING All-America honors in 2009 and second-team honors in 2010…2009 Big 12 Conference champion…received the 2009 Phil Mickelson Award as the nation’s top freshman after winning three individual titles in his first year with the Oklahoma State University golf team…a junior at Oklahoma State…born August 11, 1989 in Wyckoff, N.J.

Max Homa, 19, Valencia, Calif.

Won 2008 Toyota Tour Cup…finished fifth at 2010 Scratch Players Championship… …played in the 2010 NCAA Championship…team-given nickname is ‘Reaper’ because he became ill during his first semester of school and his teammates thought he was starting to resemble the Grim Reaper…twice shot 65 in competition (2010 TransMiss and 2009 Long Beach Open)…started playing golf at age 5…first-team all league all four years of high school… a sophomore at California …born November 19, 1990 in Burbank, Calif.

Scott Langley, 21, St. Louis, Mo.

Was the individual champion at the 2010 NCAA Division I Championship…tied for low-amateur honors at the 2010 U.S. Open, finishing 16th…2010 Big Ten Conference Player of the Year…helped lead the United States to a 13-11 victory over Europe at the 2010 Palmer Cup at Royal Portrush Golf Club (Northern Ireland)….2008 Big Ten Freshman of the Year…PING first-team All-American selection in 2010 and second-team pick in 2009…won the 2008 and 2009 St. Louis Met Open…a senior at the University of Illinois…born April 28, 1989 in Barrington, Ill.

Peter Uihlein, 20 (birthday is Aug. 29), Orlando, Fla.

Was a member of the winning 2009 USA Walker Cup Team, going 2-0 in foursomes and 2-0 in his singles matches...quarterfinalist at the 2009 U.S. Amateur...won three collegiate events this season, including the 2010 NCAA Division I Southeast Regional...earned All-Big 12 Conference and PING first-team All-America honors...won the 2010 Sahalee Players Championship...helped the USA to the overall title at the Copa de las Americas competition this past January in Argentina...caddie is his Oklahoma State assistant coach Alan Bratton...a junior at Oklahoma State University… born August 29,1989 in Rochester, Mass.
