At its Oct. 13 meeting, the Kentucky Golf Association board of directors elected Brandon Neal of Bowling Green as president. Neal, who served in the organization as a USGA P.J. Boatwright Jr. intern and also as a staff member for KGA-PGA, Inc. in the 1990s as director of junior golf, is believed to be the first Boatwright intern to become president of a regional/state golf association.
