Cheyenne Woods, 20, Phoenix, Ariz. 

Advanced to the quarterfinals with an 8-and-7 victory over Alex Stewart … playing in her first U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links … competed in the 2009 U.S. Women’s Amateur and the 2004-07 U.S. Girls’ Junior … a student at Wake Forest University … won the 2011 Atlantic Coast Conference championship by seven strokes … named to the All-ACC team in 2010 and 2011 … in 2010, won the inaugural Hooters Women’s Team Championship and the Bryan National Collegiate … daughter of Earl Woods Jr. and Susan Woods … has two older brothers, Ben and Justin … the niece of nine-time USGA champion Tiger Woods … birthday is July 25, 1990.

Annie Park, 16, Levittown, N.Y. 

Advanced to the quarterfinals with a 1-up victory over Julie Yang … competing in her fifth U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links (2007-10) … competed in the 2007 and 2009 U.S. Girls’ Junior and the 2008 Women’s Amateur … a high-school junior … finished ninth at the 2011 Rolex Girls Junior Championship … tied for second at the 2011 Sea Pines Junior Heritage … two-time Rolex Junior All-American … birthday is April 9, 1995.

Brianna Do, 21, Vietnam 

Advanced to the quarterfinals with a 1-up victory over Emily Tubert … competing in her fourth U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links (2007-08, 2010) … was a quarterfinalist at the 2010 WAPL … competed in the 2005-2006 U.S. Girls’ Junior and the 2007 Women’s Amateur … a student at UCLA and is a member of the golf team … named to the All-Pacific-10 Conference second team in 2010 … daughter of Max and Phuong Lam … has a brother, Max Jr., and a sister, Dee Dee … birthday is January 3, 1990.

Stephanie Kono, 21, Honolulu, Hawaii 

Advanced to the quarterfinals with a 2-and-1 victory over Catherine Dolan … competing in her eighth U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links (2003-04, 2006-10) … semifinalist at 2008 WAPL … competed in the 2002-07 U.S. Girls’ Junior, 2008-10 U.S. Women’s Amateur and 2010 U.S. Women’s Open … also has qualified for 2011 U.S.  Women’s Open … member of the winning 2010 USA Curtis Cup Team … will be a senior at UCLA …  a member of UCLA’s 2011 NCAA Division I Championship-winning team … a 2011 NGCA First Team All-American and Golfweek Second Team All-American … won the 2010 ASU Invitational and 2009 UCF Challenge … daughter of Teruo and Lori … birthday is November 27, 1989.

Marissa Dodd, 17, Allen, Texas 

Advanced to the quarterfinals with a 2-up victory over Prima Thammaraks … competing in her first U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links … competed in the 2010 U.S. Girls’ Junior … a senior at Allen High School … has signed a letter of intent to play for Wake Forest University … runner-up at the 2010 Texas 5A State Championship … daughter of Mark and Stacie … has one sister, Allison … birthday is September 20, 1993.

Sally Watson, 20, Scotland 

Advanced to the quarterfinals with a 6-and-5 victory over Angel Yin … competing in her first U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links … competed in the 2010 U.S. Women’s Open, 2009-10 U.S. Women’s Amateur and 2007-08 U.S. Girls’ Junior … represented Great Britain and Ireland at the 2008 and 2010 Curtis Cup Matches … represented Scotland at the 2010 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship … a member of the 2007 and 2009 European Junior Solheim Cup teams … a student at Stanford University … named to the 2011 All-Pacific-10 Conference Second Team … lives 12 miles from St. Andrews in a home that was built by a well-known clubmaking family in the 19th century … Competed in 2007 Women’s British Open at St. Andrews … daughter of Graham and Maggie … has one sister, Rebecca … birthday is July 10, 1991.

Tiffany Lua, 20, Rowland Heights, Calif. 

Advanced to the quarterfinals with a 1-up victory over Lauren Cate … competing in her seventh U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links (2004-05, 2007-10) … semifinalist at 2008 WAPL … competed in the 2004-08 Girls’ Junior, the 2007-09 Women’s Open and the 2005, 2007-10 U.S. Women’s Amateur … member of the winning 2010 USA Curtis Cup Team … a student at UCLA … a member of UCLA’s 2011 NCAA Division I Championship-winning team … tied for first at the 2010 LandFall Tradition … tied for first at the 2011 Pacific-10 Conference Championship, but lost in a playoff … a 2011 NGCA and Golfweek Second Team All-American … daughter of Michael and Donna … has two brothers, Matthew and Chris … birthday is February 22, 1991.

Brittany Altomare, 20, Shrewsbury, Mass. 

Advanced to the quarterfinals with a 2-up victory over Kelsey Vines … competing in her fourth U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links (2008-10) … competed in the 2005-08 U.S. Girls’ Junior, 2005 and 2009 U.S. Women’s Amateur and 2009-10 U.S. Women’s Open … qualified for 2011 U.S. Women’s Open … a student at the University of Virginia … made a hole-in-one during the 2011 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship conducted at Texas A&M University’s Traditions Club … won the 2010 Golfweek Women’s Conference Challenge … a 2011 NGCA and Golfweek Second Team All-American … daughter of Tom and Kathy … has two sisters, Jennifer and Mary … birthday is November 19, 1990.
