Kohler, Wis. – Sun Ju Ahn, ranked seventh in the Rolex Rankings, has withdrawn from the 2012 U.S. Women's Open. She has been replaced in the field by amateur Alison Lee, of Valencia, Calif., who is the first alternate out of the Half Moon Bay, Calif., qualifier.
Lee, 17, competed in the 2009 and 2010 U.S. Women's Opens, making the cut in 2009 at age 14 and finishing tied for 26th. She won the 2012 Legacy Junior Challenge to earn a spot in this year's Kraft Nabisco Championship field.
