Alyaa Abdulghany, 16, of Newport Beach, Calif.

• Born April 2,1999, in Malaysia, but holds U.S. citizenship
• No. 201 in World Amateur Golf Ranking™
• She and partner Ellen Takada defeated medalists Athena Yang and Kendall Griffin, 4 and 3, to advance to the semifinals
• Playing in her first USGA championship
• Tied for fourth at the 2015 Annika Invitational, conducted by the American Junior Golf Association
• Played in the 2014 Polo Golf Junior Classic, conducted by the AJGA, where she lost in the semifinals to Lauren Stephenson
• She is a sophomore at Corona Del Mar High School

Ellen Takada, 17, of Irvine, Calif.

• Born May 21, 1997, in Irvine
• No. 682 in World Amateur Golf Ranking™
• She and partner Alyaa Abdulghany defeated medalists Athena Yang and Kendall Griffin, 4 and 3, to advance to the semifinals
• Her 64 at the 2014 Junior PGA Championship, where she finished sixth, is tied for the lowest round by a female player in championship history
• Played in the 2014 U.S. Girls’ Junior and U.S. Women’s Amateur championships
• A junior at University High School, she has committed to the University of Washington for 2016

Mika Liu, 16, of Beverly Hills, Calif.

• Born Feb. 9, 1999, in Beverly Hills
• No. 42 in World Amateur Golf Ranking™
• She and partner Rinko Mitsunaga posted a 2-and-1 victory over Kathleen Scavo and Lucy Li in the Round of 16 before eliminating Angel Yin and Muni He in 21 holes during the quarterfinal
• Won the 2014 Women’s Western Amateur and Women’s Southern Amateur championships
• Individual gold medalist and member of the victorious USA team at the 2014 World Junior Girls Championship
• Played in the 2015 ANA Inspiration and Swinging Skirts Classic, missing the cut in both events
• Finished third at the 2015 Annika Invitational
• A sophomore at IMG Academy, she has verbally committed to attend Stanford for 2017

Rinko Mitsunaga, 18, of Roswell, Ga.

• Born Aug. 15, 1996, in Atlanta
• No. 751 in World Amateur Golf Ranking™
• She and partner Mika Liu posted a 2-and-1 victory over Kathleen Scavo and Lucy Li in the Round of 16 before eliminating Angel Yin and Muni He in 21 holes in the quarterfinals
• Won the 2015 Kathy Whitworth Invitational and tied for first place at the 2015 Wells Fargo Junior Classic, both conducted by the AJGA
• Played in six previous USGA championships, including the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open
• A senior at IMG Academy, she has committed to the University of Georgia for 2015

Hannah O’Sullivan, 17, of Chandler, Ariz.

• Born May 11, 1998, in Singapore, but holds U.S. citizenship
• No. 20 in World Amateur Golf Ranking™
• She and partner Robynn Ree posted a 10-and-8 victory in the Round of 32, the first such margin in an 18-hole USGA championship since 1955; the duo defeated 2003 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur champion Amber Marsh Elliott and her partner Katie Miller, 4 and 3, in the quarterfinal
• Played in five previous USGA events, including the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open at age 14, and the 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur, where she lost in the semifinals to Brooke Henderson
• Won the 2015 Gateway Classic, the opening event on the Symetra Tour, becoming the youngest winner in Tour history and first amateur winner since 1999
• Represented the victorious USA team in the 2014 Junior Ryder Cup
• A junior at Hamilton High School, she has committed to the University of Southern California (USC) for 2016

Robynn Ree, 18, of Redondo Beach, Calif.

• Born May 5, 1997, in Los Angeles
• No. 57 in World Amateur Golf Ranking™
• She and partner Hannah O’Sullivan posted a 10-and-8 victory in the Round of 32, a first in an 18-hole USGA championship since 1955; the duo defeated 2003 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur champion Amber Marsh Elliott and her partner Katie Miller, 4 and 3, in the quarterfinal
• Tied for sixth place at the 2015 Annika Invitational, conducted by the AJGA
• Runner-up at the 2014 AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions
• Played in the 2013 and 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links and 2014 U.S. Girls’ Junior
• A senior at Redondo Union High School, she has committed to the University of Southern California for 2015

Madelein “Maddy” Herr, 17, of New Hope, Pa.

• Born Feb. 20, 1998, in Naperville, Ill.
• No. 1,676 in World Amateur Golf Ranking™
• She and partner Brynn Walker defeated four-time U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur champion Meghan Stasi and her partner Dawn Woodard, 5 and 3, in the quarterfinal round
• Playing in her first USGA championship
• Finished second to Walker at the 2014 AJGA Philadelphia Open
• A high school junior, she has committed to Penn State University for 2016

Brynn Walker, 16, of St. Davids, Pa.

• Born June 1, 1998, in St. Davids
• No. 371 in World Amateur Golf Ranking™
• She and partner Madelein Herr defeated four-time U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur champion Meghan Stasi and her partner Dawn Woodard, 5 and 3, in the quarterfinal.
• Played in three previous USGA championships, including the 2013 USGA Women’s State Team, 2014 U.S. Girls’ Junior and 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur
• Won the 2014 AJGA Philadelphia Junior and CorseMax/Philadelphia Runner Junior
• Won the 2013 Pennsylvania State Junior
• A junior at Radnor High School, she has committed to the University of North Carolina for 2016
