I have a general grounds ticket. What do I have access to?
Fans who purchase a grounds ticket any day of the championship have access to the entire golf course, as well as our fan activations and food and beverage options.
What else is there to do other than watch great golf?
Want a photo with the U.S. Women’s Open trophy? Visit the Lexus Performance Experience in Fan Central to take part in state-of-the-art interactive golf experiences, including a photo opportunity with the U.S. Women’s Open Trophy and a putting green interaction. Fans are also encouraged to visit throughout the championship for autograph signings with Lexus Golf Ambassadors.
In addition, with an upgraded ticket fans can visit the Palmetto Pavilion, an open-air sports bar like atmosphere with TV screens, upgraded food and beverage, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. The facility is directly behind the 18th tee box with a great view of the action!

What’s the best way to learn about special activities?
Beginning May 1, you can download the U.S. Women’s Open mobile app. This will help you navigate the golf course, find your favorite players, and find activations and activities throughout the course. The app will also alert you to special events like autograph signings, meet and greets, musical performances and more.
What is there for kids to do at the U.S. Women’s Open?
In addition to receiving complimentary admission, juniors at the U.S. Women’s Open are treated to a variety of free activities in addition to watching great golf. New in 2019, the U.S. Women’s Open will have a junior-only “selfie station” located close to 18 green, where kids under the age of 18 can stop by and get photos with players.
In addition, juniors are encouraged to visit the junior tent to engage in a number of activities including putting games, a play area and more. This will be a great space to let your kids let loose a little bit, play and learn more about golf!
Kids can also pick up our “Junior Fan Journey” activity guide that offers interesting and fun things for them to do throughout the championship grounds. Return a completed one and receive a prize!
When are the best days and times to attend?
Gates are open from dawn to dusk, and the energy and enthusiasm of a major championship will be in full swing from the time the first ball is in the air. While crowds are generally larger on the weekend, we also expect an energetic contingent of fans on Thursday and Friday especially in the afternoon given the proximity to the working population in Downtown Charleston.
In addition, the U.S. Women’s Open will host happy hour on both Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31. Walk-up general admission tickets will be $20 after 2 p.m., and all drinks will be discounted! Plus, you’ll be there just in time to catch the marquee pairings of the day tee off during our broadcast window.
Lastly, we know that Charlestonians have a lot of pride in their city, and we’re ready to celebrate that! Saturday action at the 74th U.S. Women’s Open will revolve around celebrating Charleston, with local food trucks, vendors, music and more.
What else is going on?
Well as they say, the early bird gets the worm. If you are one of the first 200 fans to join us for our opening tee shot on Thursday morning, we will give you a complimentary ticket to come back and join us over the weekend! That’s two days of great golf for the price of one.
