The University of Texas senior surged to No. 13 in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking® to qualify for her first U.S. Women’s Open. She has enjoyed a solid 2020 season with a pair of victories in small professional events in Europe: the Santander Golf Tour Lauro in Spain and Lavaux Ladies Open in Switzerland. She also won the Grand Prix de Saint Germain and Grand Prix du Medoc in her native France, and finished third in the European Ladies’ Amateur Championship, an event she won in 2017. In 2019, Laisne won the Big 12 Championship and finished third in the NCAA Norman (Okla.) Regional. She also represented France in the 2018 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship.
