Kim, a junior at Vanderbilt University from St. Augustine, Fla., is set to make her second consecutive U.S. Women’s Open start after missing the cut last year. As a freshman, Kim won the 2019 NCAA Auburn Regional and was named a third-team All-American by Golfweek. Last season, she won the Cougar Classic at Yeomans Hall by seven strokes en route to being named an honorable-mention All-American by Golfweek. She is currently No. 25 in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking®. Her older sister, August, qualified for the 2017 U.S. Women’s Open and currently plays on the Symetra Tour.
