Cano will make her second consecutive U.S. Women’s Open start after finishing second on the 2020 Symetra Tour money list. Cano registered her first professional victory in late August at the IOA Championship. She also had three other top-10 finishes in 2020. In 2019, Cano made 15 of 21 cuts on the Symetra Tour to finish 39th on the money list. In 2018, she finished No. 24 on the circuit’s money list. Prior to turning professional in 2017, Cano was the 2016 Sun Belt Conference’s Player of the Year at Troy University in Alabama, where she was a four-time all-conference selection and registered eight victories.
