Kinhult will make her U.S. Women’s Open debut, thanks to finishing No. 4 on the 2020 Symetra Tour money list. Kinhult entered the season-ending Symetra Tour Championship 24th on the money list, but her four-stroke victory in Davidson, N.C., vaulted her inside the top five. Kinhult spent three semesters at Florida State, where she won three times and was named the 2019 Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman of the Year and shared the ACC Player of the Year award with Wake Forest’s Jennifer Kupcho. Kinhult spent three weeks as the No. 1 player in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking® in 2019. Her father, Mikael, is a teaching professional in Sweden and her brother, Marcus, is a member of the PGA European Tour.
