Ryu earned her second U.S. Women’s Open start by being No. 25 in the Rolex Rankings. The teenager has enjoyed a successful rookie season on the LPGA Tour of Korea with a win (Jeju Samdasoo Masters) and a pair of seconds. She also has four other top 10s. Ryu also won the Jeju Samdasoo Masters in 2019 before she became a member of the KLPGA. Ryu missed the cut in the 2016 U.S. Women’s Open at CordeValle.
