The South Dakota native will make her fifth U.S. Women’s Open start after finishing third on the 2020 Symetra Tour money list. Kaufman’s best U.S. Women’s Open finish is a tie for 32nd in 2016 at CordeValle. She has bounced between the Symetra Tour and LPGA Tour since turning professional in 2013. All three of her professional wins have come on the Symetra Tour, including the 2020 Four Winds Invitational. She was a two-time All-American at Texas Tech and in 2009, she advanced to the quarterfinals of the U.S. Girls’ Junior.
