Grant will make her second U.S. Women’s Open start, thanks to being No. 5 in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking®. She is coming off a solid freshman season at Arizona State, where she was a Women’s Golf Coaches Association first-team All-American and a Golfweek second-team selection. She finished in the top 10 in five of her seven events, including a victory in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. Grant won the 2017 Ladies British Amateur Stroke Play Championship at North Berwick in Scotland, the same course where her grandfather, James Grant, captured the Scottish Boys Championship. Linn's father, John, played college golf at West Florida. She will represent the International Team in the upcoming Palmer Cup. Also helped Sweden win a third consecutive European Ladies Team Championship.
