Jeon has been one of the most dominant players on the LPGA Tour of Japan (JLPGA) in the past 15 years, posting 13 victories, including three in a row in 2007. That year, she became the first player in nine years to win three straight tournaments. Her last triumph on that circuit is the 2019 Taiwan Women’s Golf Open. This will be her fifth start in the U.S. Women’s Open, but first since 2011 when she tied for 25th at The Broadmoor.
