Masson, who is making her eighth consecutive start in the U.S. Women’s Open, owns a pair of worldwide victories, including the 2016 Manulife LPGA Classic. Her other triumph came in the 2012 South African Women’s Open on the Ladies European Tour. As an amateur, Masson represented Germany in the 2006 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship. She played for one year at Oklahoma State before turning pro in December 2009. Earlier this year, she tied for seventh in the Women’s British Open at Royal Troon. Masson has represented Europe in four Solheim Cups (2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019).
