Ye earned her place at Champions Golf Club with a 1-up victory over Jillian Bourdage in the 36-hole final of the 2019 U.S. Girls’ Junior. Ye and partner Ya-Chun Chang advanced to the 18-hole final match of the 2018 U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship at El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, Calif. Ye had a stellar freshman season at Stanford in 2019-20, earning first-team All-America honors from Golfweek magazine and second team by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association. Born in China, she attended the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., before matriculating at Stanford.
