Salas’ lone victory to date came in the 2014 Kingsmill Championship by four strokes. Salas was born and raised in Azusa, Calif., a suburb of Los Angeles. She became the first member of her family to attend and graduate from college. She registered three wins at USC and was the conference’s Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010. She was a four-time All-American for the Trojans. After turning pro in 2011, she competed on the Symetra Tour before gaining her LPGA Tour card for the 2012 season. She has represented the USA on three Solheim Cup Teams. Her best major finish is solo second in last year’s Women’s British Open.
