MacLaren had a highly successful amateur/college career, winning eight times at Florida International before graduating with a degree in English. She was a member of the victorious 2016 Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup Team. She earned her way onto the Ladies European Tour via the LET Access Tour, winning that circuit’s Order of Merit in 2017. She has since won consecutive Women’s NSW Open titles. MacLaren’s only previous start in the U.S. Women’s Open was a missed cut in 2017 at Trump National Golf Club.
