Hur ended a five-year victory drought in 2019 by winning a pair of tournaments. She captured the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open, in August and followed it up a month later by winning the Indy Women in Tech Championship. Both were four-stroke victories and pushed Hur’s worldwide victory total to five. In 2017, Hur tied for third at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., her best finish by far in nine U.S. Women’s Open starts. Her only other top-10 finish in a major championship came when she tied for third in the 2014 Evian Championship.
