Smith is coming off a 2019 season in which she competed in just eight tournaments due to maternity leave. In 2018, she tied for fifth in the U.S. Women’s Open at Shoal Creek. She made 18 of 30 cuts. In 2017, she made 27 of 31 cuts, including a tie for third in the ISPS Handa Australian Open. Prior to turning professional, she was the top-ranked junior (2002) and amateur (2003) in Australia.
