Kawamoto is a rookie on the LPGA Tour in 2020 after tying for ninth in the finals of the LPGA Tour’s Q Series last fall. Before joining the circuit, she posted four wins on the LPGA of Japan Tour. She owns two top 10s in 2020, including a solo fourth in the Drive On Championship at Inverness Club. This is her first start in the U.S. Women’s Open.
