Henderson, the Canadian Press female athlete of the year for 2015, 2017 and 2018, captured the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in 2016 for her lone major title. It is one of 10 LPGA Tour victories for Henderson, who held off Jessica Korda by one stroke to win the Hugel-Air Premia L.A. Open. Henderson nearly claimed her second major at the 2020 ANA Inspiration, but lost in a three-way playoff to Mirim Lee. She was the runner-up to Kristen Gillman in the 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur. She also represented Canada in the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship in 2012 and 2014.
