Kim, a fifth-year senior at Vanderbilt University from St. Augustine, Fla., will make third U.S. Women's Open start, and first as a professional, after earning medalist honors at the Shannopin Country Club qualifier (4-under 138). She missed the cut in her two previous appearances. Kim competed in the 2021 and 2022 Augusta National Women's Amateurs. She also qualified for match play in the 2019 and 2020 U.S. Women's Amateurs. Her older sister, August, qualified for the 2017 U.S. Women’s Open. She is making her professional debut.
