Roussin will make her second U.S. Women’s Open start, and first as a professional, after surviving a 5-for-2 playoff for the final spots in the qualifier held at Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club, just across the street from Pine Needles. Roussin, who turned professional last summer following a stellar career at the University of South Carolina, posted a 36-hole total of even-par 144 (73-71). Two weeks after turning pro, Roussin-Bouchard claimed her only professional win to date, the Didriksons Skafto Open on the Ladies European Tour. She tied for 46th in her first U.S. Women's Open start in 2020 at Champions Golf Club as part of the all-exempt championship. She reached No. 1 in the Women's World Amateur Golf Ranking® in 2020. As a freshman at the University of South Carolina in 2019-20, she was a unanimous All-American selection, and she began her sophomore season by winning The Ally at Old Waverly with a program-best, 54-hole total of 202. She won five times during her first two seasons at South Carolina. Prior to arriving at South Carolina, Roussin won the Italian Ladies Amateur and Portuguese International Ladies Amateur, and she represented France in the 2016 and 2018 Women’s World Amateur Team Championships. She also was a member of Europe's 2016 Junior Ryder Cup Team. Prior to turning pro, she won the 2021 Southeastern Conference individual title.
