An, a two-time winner on the LPGA Tour of Korea, will make her second U.S. Women’s Open start after tying for 63rd in the all-exempt 2020 championship at Champions Golf Club in Houston. An owns a pair of top-3 finishes on the LPGA Tour, including solo third in the 2021 JTBC Classic. She also tied for third in the 2021 BMW Ladies Championship, an event co-sanctioned by the LPGA Tour and the LPGA Tour of Korea.
