Road to Pine Needles: Qualified at Columbus, Ohio, site on May 4

The Elizabethtown, Ky., resident qualified for her first U.S. Women's Open after earning medalist honors on Ohio State University's Scarlet Course. Hartlage posted a 36-hole total of 4-under-par 140 (71-69). Hartlage earned her 2022 LPGA Tour card during last year's Q Series, tying for 26th in the two-tournament, eight-round event. She turned professional last summer and finished second in the Delta Downs Invitational on the Women's All-Pro Tour. At Louisville, she claimed two tournament titles. She advanced to match play in the 2018 and 2019 U.S. Women's Amateurs.  Her mother, Kim, played collegiately at Western Kentucky.
