Road to Pine Needs: Top 75 in Rolex Rankings as of May 16
The former Oklahoma State All-American will make her third consecutive U.S. Women’s Open start, but first as a professional. She became exempt when she jumped to No. 75 in the Rolex Rankings on May 16. Stark tied for 13th in 2020 at Champions Golf Club and tied for 16th last year at The Olympic Club as an amateur. Since turning professional last August, she has posted four victories, three of which have come on the Ladies European Tour. In May, she captured the Women's NSW Open in Australia. Stark won three times at Oklahoma State. She also led Sweden to three consecutive European Team Championship titles from 2018-20. Prior to college, Stark competed as an amateur in three Ladies European Tour Access Series events, including second-place finishes in the 2019 Scandic PGA Championship and Anna Nordqvist Vasteras Open. She represented Europe in the 2017 Junior Solheim Cup.
