Phatlum will make her 12th start in the U.S. Women’s Open after getting into the field as the first alternate from the Morris County Golf Club qualifier, where she edged Jeongeun Lee in a playoff for that alternate spot.. Her best finish is solo seventh at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club’s Course No. 2 in 2014. It’s one of two top-10 finishes in major championships; the other being solo second in the 2018 Women’s British Open. Phatlum owns 20 worldwide victories, nine coming on the Ladies Asian Golf Tour. Her last triumph came in the 2016 Bangchak Thai LPGA Open in 2016. Phatlum represented Thailand in the International Crown in 2014, 2016 and 2018.
