Lin is set to make her eighth U.S. Women’s Open start. In 2021, Lin tied for seventh at The Olympic Club to become exempt for the 2022 championship. The native of the People’s Republic of China has eight worldwide victories, seven of which have come on the China LPGA Tour. She joined the LPGA Tour in 2014. Lin represented China in the 2016 Summer Olympics, finishing 38th. In 2022, she lost a playoff to Nanna Koerstz Madsen in the Honda LPGA Thailand.
