Hall, a veteran of the Ladies European Tour, qualified for her first U.S. Women's Open via a 5-for-1 playoff for the final spot at Buckhinghamshire Golf Club. Five players all posted even-par 144. Of her four professional wins, one has come on the Ladies European Tour (2012 ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters). She also won the 2016 Welsh National PGA Championship, the first woman to win a national PGA tournament. As an amateur, she represented Wales in the 2005 and 2007 European Ladies' Team Championship. She is the daughter of Welsh rugby player, Wayne Hall.
