Ardina, the 2011 U.S. Girls' Junior runner-up, will make her second U.S. Women's Open start after the first alternate from the Fort Myers, Fla., sectional qualifier was added to the field. Ardina owns two professional wins: the 2022 Copper Rock Championship on the Epson Tour and the 2020 Ballarat Icons Pro-Am on the Women's PGA of Australasia. Ardina twice represented the Philippines in the Women's World Amateur Team Championship, including 2006 at the age of 12 when she became the event's youngest-ever competitor. She lost to future U.S. Women's Open champion Ariya Jutanugarn in the final of the U.S. Girls' Junior at Olympia Fields C.C. She did qualify to compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil, but eventually withdrew due to the Zika virus threat. In 2013, she won the Philippine Amateur Open. She was a five-time winner of the U.S. Kids Championship and a three-time age-group champion in Callaway Junior World Championships.
