He is set to make her third U.S. Women’s Open start and second as a professional after surviving a 5-for-3 playoff at The Forest Country Club's Bear Course. He posted a 36-hole total of 4-under-par 140 (70-70). She made the cut in 2015 at Lancaster (Pa.) Country Club at the age of 16. He was born in China, but moved to Vancouver, Canada, and then to San Diego, where she enjoyed a strong junior/amateur career. In the 2016 U.S. Women’s Amateur, she advanced to the Round of 32, eliminating medalist Mariel Galdiano in 19 holes. She spent one season at the University of Southern California, winning the 2017 Minnesota Invitational, before turning professional. As a Symetra Tour rookie in 2018, she claimed the inaugural Prasco Charity Championship in Maineville, Ohio.
