Road to Pine Needles: Qualified at Fort Myers, Fla., site on May 4

Survived a 5-for-3 playoff at The Forest Country Club's Bear Course to qualify for her second U.S. Women's Open. Pagdanganan posted 4-under-par 140 (70-70) in the 36-hole qualifier. Pagdanganan tied for 43rd in the COVID-19-delayed Olympis in Tokyo last summer. She finished tied for 10th in last fall's Q-Series to earn her LPGA Tour card for the 2022 campaign. She started her college career at Gonzaga, but transferred to Arizona prior to her junior season. She helped the Wildcats to the 2018 NCAA title. Pagdanganan earned an individual bronze medal and team gold medal (with 2021 U.S. Women's Open champion Yuka Saso and Lois Kaye Go) in the 2018 Asian Games. She also won the 2017 Philippine Ladies Open.
