The 23-year-old from Japan will make her second U.S. Women's Open start by virtue of being among the top 75 in the Rolex Rankings as of April 6. She missed the cut in the all-exempt 2020 championship at Champions Golf Club in Houston. All five of her professional victories have come on the LPGA Tour of Japan, including three in 2021.
