  • U.S. Adaptive Open
The U.S. Adaptive Open Championship serves as the association’s 15th, and newest, national championship, developed to showcase and celebrate the adaptive golf community by providing a stage to achieve life-long dreams of competing on a worldwide platform.

This championship serves to inspire golfers of all abilities while spurring those with disabilities to take up golf, making the game better for the future. Each year, this championship unearths motivating stories of triumph and highlights the many tales of strong resiliency and drive.

The Adaptive Open is open to male and female professional and amateur golfers, with a Handicap Index of 36.4 or less, and an eligible impairment confirmed by a WR4GD Pass. The championship is contested over 54 holes of stroke play. Multiple sets of tees are utilized.

The winner receives an exemption into future U.S. Adaptive Opens (five years for overall champion, one year for each impairment category winner), a gold medal and custody of the U.S. Adaptive Open trophy for one year.
