  • U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur
The U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur is a unique championship, one that was established due to the lack of existing events that could determine a national champion at the senior women’s amateur level. Since its inception, senior women’s golf has flourished, with several major competitions having sprung up throughout the country, including the USGA’s U.S. Senior Women’s Open, which debuted in 2018.

Many women aged 50 and over find that for the first time they have the requisite time for competitive golf. Additionally, some of the nation’s best amateurs have advanced into this age group and still seek to test their talent on a championship level.

The U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur champion receives a number of exemptions, including into the next two U.S. Senior Women’s Opens, the next two U.S. Women’s Amateurs, the next two U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateurs and the next 10 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateurs.
