Eric Reasor will travel with the agronomists in the Southeast Region. Eric currently is pursuing a Ph.D. in plant, soils and insects with an emphasis in turfgrass weed science at the University of Tennessee. His dissertation research is focused on developing management programs for off-type grasses in ultradwarf bermudagrass putting greens. Dr. Jim Brosnan serves as his advisor.
Eric’s interest in turfgrass science began while growing up on his family’s farm in Rural Retreat, Va. He has a B.S. degree in crop and soil environmental sciences from Virginia Tech, and a M.S. degree in plant sciences from the University of Tennessee.
Eric will graduate in May 2017 and plans to continue his turfgrass weed science research in academia or industry.
