Cody Beckley was selected as an intern for the Northeast Region. Currently, Cody is completing a master’s degree in Turfgrass Science at the University of Maryland under the direction of Dr. Joseph Roberts.

Growing up in Idaho, Cody’s introduction to golf came from summer outings with his grandfather. Later, as a teenager, Cody poured himself into the game, spending almost all of his free time playing golf and working as a driving range attendant and groundskeeper. Cody has completed internships at Coeur D’Alene Resort Golf Course (Coeur D’Alene, Idaho), worked as an assistant superintendent at Glen Riddle Golf Club (Berlin, Maryland) and most recently was a superintendent at Nutters Crossing Golf Course (Salisbury, Maryland).

Cody, who has a Bachelor of Science degree in horticulture from Brigham Young University (Idaho), plans to graduate in fall 2018 and intends to continue working in the golf industry.
