Clint Mattox

Clint Mattox will travel with the agronomists in the West Region. Clint is pursuing a doctorate degree at Oregon State University focusing on managing annual bluegrass putting greens in the absence of traditional fungicides. Dr. Alec Kowalewski serves as his advisor.

Clint obtained a B.S. degree in turfgrass science in 2000 from Purdue University and then worked overseas for 12 years as an assistant superintendent in Germany and a superintendent in France. When he returned to the United States in 2013, Clint began pursing his M.S. degree in horticulture at Oregon State University.

Upon completion of his degree in 2019, Clint will continue his work researching turfgrass disease.
