Eric DeBoer will travel with the agronomists in the Southeast Region. Eric recently completed a master’s degree in horticulture at the University of Arkansas where his research focused on cold tolerance of ultradwarf bermudagrasses. He is currently working toward a Ph.D. researching the effects of putting green irrigation with water oxygenated via nanobubble technology. Dr. Mike Richardson serves as his advisor.
Eric’s love of the game stemmed from his father working summer months on a golf course in Michigan. While pursuing his undergraduate degree at Michigan State, Eric worked as a landscaper and fell in love with the turfgrass management industry.
Eric’s previous work experiences include an internship at The Creek Club at Reynolds Lake Oconee (Greensboro, Georgia) and The Club at Olde Stone (Bowling Green, Kentucky).
