Jordan Booth was selected as an intern for the Northeast Region. Jordan recently received his M.S. in Plant Pathology from Virginia Tech University under the direction Dr. David McCall.
Jordan developed a love for the game of golf while earning his B.S. degree in Turfgrass Management at Clemson University. He joined the Virginia Tech Turfgrass Team this past January as a research associate. Prior to that, Jordan enjoyed a 12-year career in golf course maintenance including the last five years as a certified golf course superintendent.
Jordan plans to continue his education at Virginia Tech by pursuing a Ph.D. in Plant and Environmental Sciences with research focusing on warm-season putting green management.
