Seedheads and Winter Injury: Which One Are You Worried About?

Spring has officially arrived in the Northeast Region despite the cooler-than-average weather, and golf course superintendents are working hard to get their courses ready for the season. Two common concerns being expressed by superintendents throughout the region include:  

1.    Seedheads on annual bluegrass greens

2.    Winter injury on greens
