Federico Valdez Adame

Executive Director, Mexican Golf Federation

 

Federico Valdez Adame has been executive director of the Mexican Golf Federation since 2008. In addition to leading the national organization, Federico is a founding partner of Golfers Without Borders and an international technical delegate for the 2018 Central America and Caribbean Games, to be held in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Federico was the tournament director for the golf competition during the 2014 Central America and Caribbean Games in Veracruz, Mexico, and served as executive director of the men’s and women’s World Amateur Team Championships, conducted by the International Golf Federation and held in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

A native of Monterrey, Federico received a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education and an MBA from St. John’s University – Rome.
