Jasvinder (Jolly) Dhaliwal
Board of Directors, British Columbia Golf
Jolly Dhaliwal started his first venture in 1982 by opening an auto body shop. A reputation for outstanding customer service coupled with strong connections in the business community paved his entry into real estate, where he was named “Rookie of the Year” by the Fraser Valley Board. Jolly is a founding member of the Indo-Canadian Business Association, as well as the International Punjabi Golf Association (IPGA), for which he is still an active board member. The objective of the IPGA is to promote the great game of golf among the South Asian community and involve younger generations through clinics and coaching.
Using golf to raise funds, Jolly has assisted in organizing events to support Surrey Memorial and Children’s Hospitals, along with the YWCA battered women’s shelter. He joined the board of British Columbia Golf in 2014.
