Kimberly Erusha, Ph.D.

Managing Director, USGA Green Section

 

As managing director of the USGA’s Green Section, Kimberly Erusha oversees the association’s efforts to help golf facilities produce better playing conditions for better golf.

Her responsibilities include the USGA Course Consulting Service, which provides direct assistance to golf facilities throughout North America and assists with the agronomic preparations for USGA national championships. She also oversees a multimedia education and outreach program designed for golf course officials, superintendents, golfers, environmental organizations and regulatory officials. All of the Green Section initiatives are supported by the USGA Turfgrass and Environmental Research Program, the world’s largest turfgrass research grants program, which has distributed $40 million to universities nationwide.

Kimberly has doctorate and master’s degrees in turfgrass management from the University of Nebraska and a bachelor’s in horticulture from Iowa State University.
